![]() ![]() A four-time letterwinner and a three-time member of the all-conference team, Seaton was the Minnesota state doubles champion in 2002 and the state singles runner-up in 2003. Prior to attending Colgate, Seaton was a standout player at Edina High School. During her freshman season, Seaton was named to the all-Patriot League second team with a 12-6 singles mark and a 10-8 doubles record. Her 21 doubles victories set a new Colgate women’s tennis record for most doubles wins by an individual. In 2005-06 with the Raiders, Seaton earned second team all-Patriot League honors after posting an 11-16 in singles play and a 21-9 mark in doubles action. “Her presence will be a very positive contribution to our team.” “Alex is excited to play for the Gophers and we’re very pleased that she’s decided to return home,” Thomson said. A 2004 graduate of Edina High School, Seaton will join the Maroon and Gold in the fall as a junior. Head Coach Tyler Thomson has announced that Alex Seaton (Edina, Minn.) has been accepted to the University of Minnesota and will transfer to the Golden Gopher women’s tennis program from Colgate University. ![]()
